My Forest Chapel | |
|
Sun’s warm rays caress my back As twigs snap’neath sandled feet. A crystal creek like diamonds flows Sheltering trout with rainbowed vests. Sky looms high with dots of fluff. Oaks and pines perfume the air. Twin fawns nudge close to mother’s side. Dove coos an ever mournful sigh. Mirrored rows of oaks arch high, Nature’s chapel harbored safe inside. A festive carpet gently sways Grass specked red and yellow, pink and blue. Gold sunbeams peek ‘tween waving boughs Trim leaves of jade on oaken limbs. Grasshoppers bob their rhythmic beat, While larks and robins blend sweet songs, And lacey shadows dance on bark. Nature’s symphony cherished to my soul, Enveloped safe within arboreal chapel. |

Earthkeepers Publishing showcases the works of author, Virginia Rhys Anson. It was so christened as an offshoot of
Mrs. Anson's children's story about Earthkeeper who was constripted by the heavenly bodies to rescue Earth from the villian,
Toxin. Earthkeeper, the Rainbow Child, is a composite of boys and girls of every race and color within the human family.
Earthkeeper, being the blend of the variety that is humanity, challenges us to love, enjoy, care for, and heal Mother
Earth. In addition to spotlighting her reflections on God's nature and our earth, the author's works relay her
experiences as the eldest sibling in a family of eleven children and reveal her spirituality derived from her Catholic
Christian upbringing and from the goodness of our loving God.

While dabbling a tad in writings for children, Virginia Rhys Anson concentrates most of her
publications through Earthkeepers Publishing on the adult audience. Her pieces, written from her inmost soul--a soul
very much in tune with nature and her Christian spirituality--reveal the awesome wonders of our Creator.
Virginia hopes that many of the works that she pens will instill a love of nature in her audience,
enticing readers to become stewards of God's creation. |
